B&B “ST. PETERSBURG ASSEMBLY”
B&B “St. Petersburg Assembly”
offers homey atmosphere while you are far from your home. B&B is centrally located in historical
part of St. Petersburg, on the corner of Sadovaya Street and Apraksin Lane, 5
minutes walk from “Sadovaja” subway station and 10 minutes walk from “Nevskij
Prospect” subway station. All of the city’s fantastic
attractions are within walking distance: major tourist sights as Hermitage,
Russian Museum, St. Isaac Cathedral, Church Savior on the Blood, Yusupov
Palace, Mariinskij Opera and Ballet Theater and more,
as well as shopping and entertainment.
B&B occupies the
four-room apartment on the second floor of the century old building (built in
1903, wide scale remodeling was made in 2001-2002). There are four cozy clean
bedrooms with two comfortable twin size beds in each room and big living room
with an attached kitchen. The kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, a
gas-stove, a microwave, a coffee maker and an electric teakettle.
Walls in the living room
are decorated with original oil paintings by professional artists (the art
works are for sale).
One bedroom has a private bathroom
with a bathtub. Other three bedrooms share one full bathroom with a shower, a
shower with a sink and a toilet with a sink (see the
floor plan and the pictures of the B&B). A hair drier and an iron can
be provided by request.
Every morning breakfast is served in
the kitchen/living room where in the evening guests can get together to
exchange their day experience and impressions, to watch TV, to listen music, or
just to read a book sitting in the comfortable chairs and sofa.

The B&B opened its door for the
first time in June 2003. Coincidently 2003 was the year when the building where
the B&B is located marked its 100 anniversary and St. Petersburg celebrated
its 300 Jubilee.
Once I was asked to
give the reasons why one should pick my B&B, so I came up with the list of
the reasons using my guests comments:
- Central location
(walking distance to the main city’s attractions);
- Reasonable price;
- Good breakfast (
leftovers guests can take with them for a lunch snack);
- Inviting living room
is very good for the evening (and not only evening ;-) ) relaxation;
- Privacy (each
bedroom has the lock and guests can come and go as they wish);
- There are maps and
brochures with information about the city in each room;
- And the most
important – friendly owner who speaks English so she can help the guests with
updated information about city events as well as with practical information.
Briefly speaking the
B&B will be your HOME where you find safety, comfort and warmth during your
visit to St. Petersburg.

Пансион «Ассамблея» предлагает своим гостям уютную домашнюю атмосферу вдали от дома. Пансион находится в историческом центре Санкт Петербурга на пересечении Садовой улицы и Апраксина переулка (вход через парадную со стороны переулка). От пансиона до станции метро «Садовая» и универмага Гостиный двор 5 минут пешком, до станции метро «Невский проспект» и Александринки – 10, до Русского музея и храма Спас-на-Крови – 15, до Эрмитажа, Мариинского театра и Исаакиевского Собора – 20.
Пансион занимает квартиру на втором этаже, состоящую из четырех небольших, но чистых и удобных, двухместных спален и большой гостиной-кухни (см. план пансиона и фотографии). Кухня оборудована холодильником, плитой, электрочайником, кофеваркой и микроволновой печью. На стенах гостиной висят картины (холст, масло) профессиональных художников, наших современников. Работы можно приобрести, или сделать заказ понравившемуся художнику.
По утрам в кухне-гостиной гостям подается завтрак (включен в стоимость проживания), а вечером здесь же все могут собраться на чашку чая, чтобы поделиться впечатлениями прошедшего дня, посмотреть телевизор, послушать музыку или просто посидеть с книгой в уютных креслах или на диване.
В одной из спален удобства находятся в номере (санузел с ванной). Три других комнаты делят два санузла с душевыми кабинами: один санузел - совместный, другой – раздельный (и туалет, и душ с умывальником). Есть фен и утюг.
Все комнаты закрываются на ключ. При входе в здание – домофон.
Дом, в котором находится пансион, построен в 1903 году. В 2001-2002 проводился капитальный ремонт здания. Своих первых гостей пансион принял в июне 2003 года.
